I’m DOING IT IN A DRESS TO CHANGE IT.
Hi. I’m Bryony.
I was lucky enough to have access to an amazing education that has helped open many doors to living an awesome life. For me, school was the opportunity to play, discover, predict, wonder, imagine and dream.
I'd love your help to send a girl to school that hasn't been as lucky.
The idea?
You donate a dollar (or two) and I wear a school dress to work.
What's the plan?
This Friday I'll be at the Hard Knock Life conference to encourage young people to influence, participate and lead change in Australia.
Wearing a school dress while public speaking sounds like the beginnings of a nightmare, but in reality I hope it's a gesture to our educated youth to just get behind whatever they believe in and start acting.
There's no clearer message I'd like to leave them with than JUST DO STUFF.
If not, at least I'll provide a few cheap lolz.
Your part in this guarantees my dress discomfort is not all in vain. $250USD means a young girl in Sierre Leone will be afforded the opportunity to go to school; fees will be paid in full, she'll get a school uniform, school books and stationary.

Do It In A Dress is an initiative of One Girl, a non-profit organisation that empowers women and girls to create change in their communities. Our goal is to raise $40,000 so we can provide education scholarships for 100 girls in Sierra Leone. Do It In A Dress will also provide startup funding for LaunchPad, a social enterprise that will provide low cost, eco-friendly sanitary pads to women and girls living in rural areas.
